This policy covers the BidPouch.com website, public beta, and BidPouch.com browser extension.

Information we collect

We collect information that users provide to create and operate an account, including name, company name, email address, phone number, billing or project addresses, company profile information, and authentication data. We also process project content users deliberately submit, including plans, photographs, documents, spreadsheets, notes, parcel information, measurements, pricing catalogs, estimate configurations, company branding, and saved estimates.

For applicable exterior estimates, we may process a project address and corresponding parcel or geographic coordinates. We do not use the extension to collect general browsing history, keystroke logs, or unrelated website activity.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, enforce account access, provide estimating and takeoff features, analyze user-submitted project evidence, retrieve applicable GIS evidence, save and reopen projects, generate estimates and exports, provide support, secure the service, and improve beta reliability.

Service providers and disclosures

BidPouch uses service providers only to operate user-facing features. These may include Supabase for authentication, secure functions, and company-isolated project storage; Google and OpenAI services for controlled analysis of project evidence; public GIS or geospatial providers for project research; Stripe for checkout and subscription administration; and a CRM endpoint only when the user configures it, approves the estimate, and grants that destination permission. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by the BidPouch extension.

We do not sell user data. We do not use or transfer user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to BidPouch's estimating features. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Browser permissions

The extension uses browser storage to retain sessions, company settings, macros, draft recovery information, and saved project references. The side panel permission provides the primary estimating interface. Access to BidPouch's Supabase domain supports authentication and secure estimating services. Optional access to another HTTPS origin is requested only when a user elects to send an approved estimate to a company-configured CRM webhook.

Retention and control

Information is retained as needed to provide the beta, maintain saved projects, satisfy security or legal requirements, and resolve support issues. Users may remove local project data through BidPouch controls and may request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us. Some information may remain in limited backups or records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or transaction administration.

Security and children

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS transmission and company-isolated access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. BidPouch is a business estimating service and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
